i think it's important to say this because even as it's self-evidently true there's still a tendency to act like "trans people" exist in a walled garden and when you come out as trans you've voided your prior identity and retroactively were always in that garden. but you weren't. it can be anyone.

it is ontologically impossible to exterminate transgender people. if all knowledge of us is wiped from the earth for a christofascist hypermasc dystopia, there will still be men who want to be women and women who want to be men. our threat remains. you cannot kill us in any way that matters.

this is not to say that we should not fight back tooth and nail against our oppression, but to assure you that our victory is inevitable because we are not other from humanity but emerge from it naturally. you can't annihilate queerness just as you can't turn lead into gold or make the earth flat.

@sarahzedig@shrike.club lead can turn into gold actually, one just need a particle accelerator for that

also it requires a lot of enery, and the gold "created" is highly cursed radioactive, but is possible
