@Yuvalne I am not sure Florenc is really needed in this plan, the existing viaduct, unless they find a way to extend it with more tracks, which is questionable, given the attitude, is a massive capacity bottleneck, and Florenc is well within the walking distance of hlavni nadrazi provided they bridge over the masarycka

@pony fair enough. i was thinking exactly that, that while it's close in arial distance the two aren't exactly easy to walk from one to the other. and also i can imagine they didn't want the case that someone coming from the direction of karlin may have to exchange twice via Florenc so they just add a station there. but maybe it's not really that a concern.

@Yuvalne it is super annoying now (even just getting from hlavni nadrazi to masarycka sucks), but they have plans for redevelopment there too, which would actually be largely located in the current no man's land under the highway

@pony i do have worries though, redevelopmets below highways tend to become pretty terrible pretty quickly, and through no fault of the locals (it's just hard to make a pleasant place under a highway).
