no i would describe it more like you have a gmail and i have a hotmail and we can email, hehe.

so it is not like i would suggest you make another account or anything.

but just like some people would rather have their email account be their domain, or school or workplace. or they want to feel connected to a small local group f.ex.

then it can make sense to be on a specific instance.

but for now i would suggest you just keep on mastodon.social.

fediverse is slow in the beginning, but that is just because it is organic and human :)

there is no instant viral moment here, but that is also the good thing!
