@mgorny Far greater? Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut can reach 500km/h, Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 480km/h, these are not specially modified cars for breaking speed records. Fastest train that I have found is Shanghai Maglev that operates at 460km/h.
