What ever happened to the small sub size notebook or now netbook computers. Like the Eee PC of old.

I'm guessing mobile phones killed them off?

@emmalovelace I bought an educational version of the thinkpad bc at the time it was like $120. I think techies started buying them and the price went up but they still exist.
