Trumpelstilzchen hat tatsächlich - zumindest für die USA - den Namen des Golf von Mexiko umbenennen lassen.

Nett finde ich die Reaktion von Mexiko:

"Mexikos Präsidentin, Claudia Sheinbaum, [...] Bemerkte aber auch an, dass die USA mal America Mexicana hießen und man auch zu diesem Namen zurückkehren könnte"

Google maps hat offenbar sofort reagiert und gemeldet, dass sie selbstverständlich den Golf von Mexiko jetzt auch auf ihren Karten als Golf von Amerika umbenennen werden.

Leider kann ich Google maps nicht löschen von meinem Android-Gerät.

Hat jemand eine gute weltweite datenfreundliche Alternativ-App?
