Dear friend Pableaux Johnson passed on suddenly to that great gig in the sky Jan 26 2024 doing what he loved -- photographing a second line in New Orleans. He wore many hats -- musician, raconteur, chef, writer, voyager, photographer -- but through it all remained an exemplary human and companion. He knew how to bring us together with food, drink, and conversation -- and surely would be delighted if we cooked some red beans and rice in his honor:
