[#]reengineeringtheclassics #siliconroad #lichess #chess Joel came agonisingly close to a final victory but Leela hustled its way to a rook vs rook knight and h-pawn endgame with Joel’s king very far away! A tablebase win but very tricky and Leela just held the draw! That leaves Joel however as the winner of this wonderful match by 4.5-3.5! Huge thanks to Joel for his many chats after the game to explain the games to the crowd, to Larry Kaufman for all the organisation and passionate advocacy of odds chess and of course to the Leela team for some brilliant work on odds chess!
