in line at the grocery checkout and am once again faced with a National Geographic cover that’s about the Bible. I don’t think I’ve seen one that wasn’t about biblical history for the past 3-4 years. obviously far prior to its acquisition by Murdoch the magazine has a past rooted in colonialism, but seeing what it’s become from what I remembered in the 90s-10s is skincrawling
