Descriptions of USB hubs are not helping me.
I have before me an old Macbook Air M1 with two USB-C ports and no dedicated charging port. One of the ports is dead, so I can either charge the computer or use USB to transfer data. I wish to do both at the same time.
Is there a USB hub that will let me send power into the computer while at the same time supporting a USB-to-Ethernet dongle so that I can have a fast route from the laptop to my NAS?

Oops. Typo. The Macbook Air is a 2023 M2 model. Some chargers only work with M1.

@marick You'll have to check compatibility, but my wife has a MacBook Air (I believe also an M1) and a Minix USB dongle which allows her to charge, and it has a network adapter on it (among other things like HDMI and USB-A ports).
The gold color also matches the laptop's really well, in case that's a priority

@marick I believe it's this one (but not completely sure!) https://www.minix.com.hk/products/neo-c-g

@psc Thanks. I mistakenly misidentified identified my M2 as M1.
In any case, I now know better search terms, thanks to y'all.

@jameshubbard Thanks. Alas, doesn't work with an M2 macbook, which it turns out I have. (I misremembered.) But I think I'm set for alternatives.

@marick yes. There’s quite a few USB-C hubs with power pass through. I’ve even seen some with Ethernet built in (just connected via USB internally). Most of the Anker ones do it. https://www.anker.com/collections/hubs

@petrillic @marick
I think what you need to check is that the USB hub supports Power Delivery/PD with a sufficient amount of Watts

@realn2s @petrillic Thanks. That helped.

@petrillic Thanks. I don't know what I was doing wrong with searching, but I now have alternatives. (And I've thought how I might not need one at all.)

@marick I do find carrying a compact one useful for an extra port or two and some USB A ports.

@marick I use a Corsair Thunderbolt dock which plugs my (intel Mac) laptop to ethernet, hdmi, and usb. It does data transfer and charging.
