Self-righteousness is like seeing things through a tube. Or something. It really limits understanding of why people make different choices. And by not understanding (and being fsking off-putting), limits how effective we might be, in offering and fostering alternatives…

Also. Need to find more inclusive analogies than referring to sight — perception uses all our senses. (Perception uses imagination and generosity/goodwill too — we “span gaps”…)
