so i looked into pyxel

its fine, but the API is real dumb

the scale function is purposefully altered from the default scale algorithm to re-center the image at its 0,0 position

that means unscaled, a 10,10 image at 10,10 reaches from 10,10 to 20,20. scaled at 1.0x, it is at 5,5 to 15,15

i thought this was a bug so I put one in, immediately someone else chimed in about it, and some month later the developer said "this is to make ease for new user. please understand it."
