Toot

I'm looking for a good class on the various ways of making filtered coffees - an actual hands on thing where you get to use different tools with the same coffee to compare the results, a knowledgeable teacher to explain the various parameters and allow us to play with them... in Paris. Does anyone know of such a thing?

I don't want to become a barrista (although that'd be well fun), but I do want to get good at making something I enjoy, and I have so much fun with the various brewers...

@NicolasRinaudo@functional.cafe I am not in Paris, so I obviously can't recommend, but a quick search for "Coffee Meetups in Paris" (I mean, it's a big city, every hipster interest will have a meetup) returned https://www.cafemetrie.com/, which seems to have both courses and small ateliers.

They are a bit more expensive than I expected though, and maybe are a bit too simple... But I guess that's why they offer the full courses.

And maybe you'll find a group of like minded people who will want to share tips about coffee, who knows.

@JD557 you know, for all I've been to dozens of tech meetups, it never even occurred to me to look for coffee meetups...
