Toot

my biggest struggle with category theory is that the language used to talk about it implies some sort of physicality that I cannot understand! In my mind, abstract concepts live in metaphysical ether where the only way they can relate to each other is by having a relationship. The phrase “by sewing together the objects of the diagram” is meaningless to me. You can argue that a diagram has a physical representation, however, what a “sew” operation does to a 2d object? Is it the same as “glue”? 😭
