So, bishop Budde asked for mercy on immigrants, queer groups and a lot of others Trump and the Republicans have targeted. That is so milquetoast it glows in the dark! She could have called for dismantling of captitalism and toppling of the entire gang listening, using support from both OT and NT. Yet the Republicans are furious. That's a good proof their top layer is masquerading as Christans to lure in support - there's nothing honest in their "faith".

Props to bishop Budde for pointing out that while she may have cause for concern, a lot of other people are in far greater danger, and that we should concentrate on them.
