The second major winter storm in a week has reached the British Isles today. Storm Herminia currently has a central pressure of 950mB and is approaching Ireland. Strong winds and heavy rain will affect the whole British Isles for the next two days or so. There will be snow in the far north.
A further deep low may affect south-west England/northern France on Wednesday.
