Dans les années 1990, dans la Silicon Valley, j'avais eu mon premier contact avec des gens se réclamant du libertarianisme. Ça me semblait être une réaction un peu puérile à un empilement de gouvernements (fédéral, état, comté, ville…).

27 ans plus tard j'ai du mal à comprendre ce qui s'est passé.

Des années de préparation par la "talk radio", bien sûr (Limbaugh, Hannity, etc.), par la TV (Fox News), par les réseaux sociaux, bien sûr, mais…

@MonniauxD Moldbug, qui était un théoricien de niche à l'époque y compris parmi ses pairs (imagine Faré dans forum), a trouvé son auditoire chez des gens qui sont devenus puissants, par la politique ou l'argent. C'est aussi simple que ça.
