Thinking out loud...

• It's truly hard to pick a threat model. Vigilantes? Government? Yes.

• my political sympathies and affiliations are public record. If those becomes crimes, privacy is a moot point

• I've tried to game out shame attack scenarios - secrets being outed - and there's not a lot. Nothing I couldn't just be honest about if I had to, I don't think

• I'm susceptible to theft, arson, physical assault like everyone else. Not much to do about that.

• seems like the main concern then is making sure I'm not a weak link endangering others?

• In general it seems like the best defense against being disappeared or jailed on some trumped up shit is just to be visible and have friends?
