Быстрее будет найти несколько флешек и поставить ос с них, чем три часа ковырять поднятый на ноутбуке DHCP сервак и потом всё-равно пойти искать флешки

У меня вот даже одна такая флешка рядом с диваном лежит. То есть если вдруг пиздец настанет, а мне лень вставать с дивана, то я спасён 🎉

Купил россыпь флешек, раскидал по квартире. Раз в год обновляешь образы на них...

У меня на флешке с вентоем из кучи образов разных линуксов из всех дистрибутивов во время недавней чистки компа смогла установиться только win2015 ​:jahy_acid:​

Помнится один из Linux дистрибутивов с которых я начинал была как раз оригинальная Mandriva. Которая уже не Mandrake, но ещё не умерла.

Забавно.

Но я сталкивался пару раз с тем как конкретная машина не хотела загружаться с мультибута и ела только залитый на всю флешку образ.

Подозреваю, что там специфический UEFI.

Одна из этих машин была Steam Deck (LCD), кстати.

У меня единственным образом, который не дружил с ventoy, был proxmox

Понятно.

Я просто никогда его не видел, т.к. либо накатывал на Debian, либо его мне раскатывало системой деплоя у хостера 🤷

Одним из лучших моих изобретений было поставить вентой на 2.5" SATA HDD. Во-первых, это заметно ускоряет загрузку, а во-вторых - побеждает многие капризные биосы.
