People: get the fuck off American platforms.

Meta platforms, Apple devices, and Microsoft Windows for a start.

America is fascist. There's no barrier left between Trump, the media you consume, and the information you generate. Even worse: control of your operating system, browser, or CI means the American state will be able to inject malware directly even into open software. And don't "this is unprecedented and lunatic" me, it's unprecedented and lunatic until it happens.

I just don't see this being spoken about enough: Fascist America means American corporate interests changed from profit to satisfying Trump.

Switch to European service providers. Codeberg, JetBrains. Not Proton. Someone should compile a list (would it be me? gamble now).

Genuinely: at this point, cybersec-wise, I'd buy a Xioami phone over a Google Pixel or an iPhone (though I really, really wanted a Pixel Flip).

Your best bet is Samsung phones, but I have no idea if they'll comply with Trump, be banned from the US, or what.
