Just a FYI, #Lomiri (Unity 8) being merged in #postmarketOS is a massive achievement.

Essentially, this tightens the gap between pmOS and the near-Android Ubuntu Touch UI that lots of people liked. Thanks @justsoup!

@tuxdevices I've heard @justsoup share progress on the effort to make this happen for over a year now.

Admittedly I never thought I would see the day that it gets to this point of usability, after all of the many odd challenges that comes with packaging Lomiri. But here we are now.
