Shockman is a Turbo Grafx-16 exclusive, developed by Winds.

This game is inspired by Mega Man, that much is apparent when you boot the game. However, the game has its own vibes too. More than a Mega Man it feels like you are playing an episode of Kamen Rider.

So this game is like beautiful fusion of Mega Man and Kamen Rider.

The pixel graphics for this game is simply amazing. Turbo Grafx 16 always had shouldered some incredible pixel art.

I think being inspired by such a classic works in the game’s favor. A good template in other words.

This game definitely deserves your attention. Platforming is solid, blasting enemies feels great.

I think cloning replicating games can be good when it is done by integrity, passion, and love, and that is what Shockman did.

It is currently rereleased for modern consoles too!
