I recently found the only Kodachrome slides I ever took. I shot them in San Francisco and Ireland in early 2010. I then sent the film for processing - I remember sending it to Switzerland, but I'm now reading that the Kodak lab in Lausanne closed in 2006, so it must have gone to Parsons, KS?

Even though I got the film processed before the end of Kodachrome processing in 2010, I never got any of the slides scanned. It's so fun to see them after 15 years!

@mejs Kodachrome gave such an interesting feel that was very much of a different era! I still have a couple of Kodachrome super-8 films that I never did get developed in time :’(

@mejs we recently scanned a bunch of friend’s slides shot around 1965. Kodachrome ones held up excellent even though they were kept at (texas) room temperature. Ektachromes shot much much later , kept in the same place, all have very strong red hue, other dyes faded… Too bad kodachrome was such a complicated process…
