Jesus tits, the CoPilot rollout is even less competent than I realized.
I've used OneNote for many years after Evernote went to shit. But now, I guess Notion is the replacement?
I have "Connected Experiences: Turn on experiences that analyze your content" unchecked, so CoPilot should be disabled.
But that means I get a "helpful" bar across the top that says "Some connected experiences aren't available. Check your privacy preferences." that helpfully can't be closed or dismissed.
The active text box "helpfully" have a little CoPilot stamp that only generates an error message about how I have to change my privacy settings to enable this experience.
Who in God's Green Fuck thought any of this was within shitting distance of acceptable?

@troldann I am actively angry enough that when I have enough time I'm going to start ripping out as many Microsoft products as I can.

@drsbaitso I think I've decided that I'm in a position to bite the bullet and go Linux instead of Win11.

@drsbaitso it’s typical Microsoft - and will probably be a marketing team making the decision over a techy - if they even talked.
