I just want to say that when I go work on a #Wildfire, I don't do my job differently based on the political leanings of the area being served. Emergency response (and disaster relief) are not -- should not be -- partisan endeavors.

I have fought fire in a lot of MAGA places and haven't done anything differently than what I would do in my own backyard. I work with people who don't share my politics or convictions and together we help keep values at risk and all people safe.

To even suggest that response or aid is dependent upon policital favors is amoral and abhorrent.

@bud_t so here’s the my thought. I’ve seen tornadoes wipe out whole towns peppered with Trump flags. I still extend my hand and offer my assistance to those that hoist the Trump flag.

It’s called being a decent human being. We lack too many of those.
