Hey it's January 24th so in light of recent posts let's see if #TwinPeaksRewatch can become a fedi event next month.

Starting every February 24th (Twin Peaks Day) for the past several years, the kvlt.zone household has rewatched both original seasons of Twin Peaks, followed by Fire Walk With Me and then Twin Peaks: The Return. It takes a few weeks but it's totally worth it, even S2's dogshit middle section.

Feel free also to join in if you've never watched any Twin Peaks before but have been curious about it.

I don't recommend it for everyone because it's an acquired taste unless a description like "weird, creepy, campy, incredibly poignant, incredibly violent, objectifying, liberating, problematic, transcendent murder mystery meets trauma drama meets cosmic horror meets mystic experience" appeals to you. But that impossible combination is what makes it the pinnacle of television for me.
