so it's not actually super cursed, only modestly so. instead of a specific type, it's actually a generic object. the propertydrawer I'm using lets you select from an enum and then that specifies which kind of field to use
so instead of a list somehow containing ints, floats, strings, and bools, it's actually a list of what I call ParameterType. Parameter type contains two properties: the enum to specify the type and an object
