I woke up this morning to an image I wish I could have photographed.

My cat was sitting on my chest. My dog was beside me. I opened my eyes to see two sets of eyes looking down on me. 😆

The dog had to go out.

The fact it was 29' out and it was 5am didn't mean a thing to her. WAKE UP! 😉

(I live in an apartment, so I couldn't just let her out. I had to get up and walk her.)

I know what you mean. Even though we have a yard, I put on outdoor gear and accompany either dog outside with a flashlight. 2am, 3am, whatever. The Golden is over 10, and if she needs to go at night, she leads me to the human bathroom first! Then we go out...

We have raccoons and nutria in the area, and I go out to warn them off.
