the latest in elixir lsp nonsense:

• elixir 1.18 was released more than a month ago

• the lexical lsp has not updated to support it, though a pull request has been open for two weeks

• my work project adopted elixir 1.18

• i now have to build lexical from source myself instead of letting zed just install the latest version

• oh wait zed no longer lets you set a custom lsp path contrary to a github post by one of the developers from a whopping 15 months ago

• guess no lsp for me

but wait, there’s more:

• trying to use elixir-ls makes zed crash

• next-ls “works” but seems to only suggest completions for functions in the same module if they match the name of the function you’re currently in. what the actual fuck

i don't wanna hear it from ios devs complaining about sourcekit. you do not understand how much worse it could be. what i would give right now for sourcekit-equivalent functionality
