ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan has filed for arrest warrants against two senior Taliban leaders, Haibatullah Akhundzada and Abdul Hakim Haqqani, for crimes against humanity specifically related to gender persecution in Afghanistan.

This is welcome news & a critical first step towards justice.
