@oli This is not meant to be a personal attack, but is it logical in your eyes to use Github without need (it's not absolutely necessary for a blog), knowing full well what kind of company is behind it, and then, on the other hand, complain about a lack of digital sovereignty?

@ubo Quite the opposite: I even think it's funny that I want to write something critical about it and instantly get reminded of my dependency on it. I wanted to write about WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram und run straight into the same trap with GitHub.
And that is because it's convenient and we're all lazy: I can just update my static blog from anywhere.
