@Preuk Subtitled videos often already have an audiotrack where you can hear the same stuff the subtitles read.
But yes, people that still need screen readers to tell read them subtitles would be very much caught in the crossfire.
I'm genuinely curious though, what are cases where someone needs TTS on subtitles?

@davidgerard sure, but i often rely on subtitles to acces content faster. Watching a 10 minutes video to get a page worth of content seems awfully wasteful to me.
