@WarnerCrocker This is weirdly not as absurd as it seems. It seems to be a response to all the anti-abortion laws that are being passed:
“All across the country, especially here in Mississippi, the vast majority of bills relating to contraception and/or abortion focus on the woman’s role when men are fifty percent of the equation.
This bill highlights that fact and brings the man’s role into the conversation. People can get up in arms and call it absurd but I can’t say that bothers me.”
These recent laws, & the enforcement & investigation practices surrounding them, are essentially making it illegal for a woman to allow an ovum to exit her Fallopian tubes without the intent to fertilize an embryo, so it's only fair that men should have to play by the same rules.
