From a dark site with a flat horizon and a proper camera, comet C/2024 G3 (ATLAS) is a stunner at the moment!
Easily visible with the naked eye, with the tail visually extending for about 10 degrees.
With a 30 second exposure at 70 mm f/8, the tail is maginficent! This is just a single snap. Yes, there are also fifteen 🤬 starlinks in this single photo. A new record for me 😡

@knud Yes, from the northern hemisphere, the comet sets at the same time as the Sun (or before!) It sits on the horizon to the south (left) from the Sun.

Thanks, yes, I had checked that and was confused, because I haven't seen any hype around here in The North. And that image of your's is magnificent!
I took some marginally interesting pics of C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) last year but this one is really something different.
