If Musk didn’t do the Hitler salute, would we be here talking about the new government in the same terms?

Did we truly need a signifier to be broadcast all over the world for us to say, “Oh, this is some Nazi shit”?

Would we be looking at the deluge of new executive orders under the light of “these are Nazi sympathisers”, instead of “it’s a right-wing government doing their conservative stuff”?
