@melanie Mine tends to evolve. People come and they go. Life, relocation, falling out, bad choices.

Imo, the chosen part is not passive, it's the active continuing to choose.

There are always more seats at the table. It's a big extended family, you know? Some people come by every couple years. Others you see all the time.

@melanie I feel like I've gotten older and settled. New faces come to my gatherings. Some have stuck around for a decade. There were times in my life from moving around that I had a complete new set every year.
