Just heard this on CNN from Kevin O’Leary, who’s making a lowball offer to buy TikTok: apparently the ban legislation would require any buyer to clean-room rebuild the app (I guess Project Texas doesn’t count). In other words, TikTok IS LAVA.
IANAL, but that’s not the read I get on this (really pretty short) act. Any leads on a legal analysis?
