the "autistic people just do that" thing about elon musk's obvious nazi salute is such bullshit but also they are flexing on how they get to rewrite reality when they claim it. the fact that it is also damaging to autistic people is a bonus for them

i think we need to tell everyone that creating dissonance between observed reality and the narratives after the fact is a common tactic because a lot of people are being taken in and i think it's possible that knowing the tactic might help them resist that propaganda angle
