I don’t, I use Firefox, but Firefox support for Web apps is really wonky anyway

Those are mostly electron-based which is Chrome with a belt.

@hannah no, as far as I know, it is just a website shortcut. It’s not an app made with Chrome, it’s just a website masquerading as an app in the Play store

@yassie_j@labyrinth.zone @hannah@moonserver.yorha.nexus There are tools that can wrap a website with a couple additions for like device fingerprinting, taking photos, and (big one) push notifications. The phone makers prefer native apps over web apps, and won't give web apps these capabilities. But not every company has the resources to make a native app so here we are.
