I need to get off of megacorporation controlled computing platforms. I still don’t have a good solution for a Linux tablet computer with equal utility to an ipad. I particularly want good pen support, which seems to be the biggest hurdle.
I wonder how Linux would run on this?

@Unlikelylass if they didn’t do anything silly for the keyboard interface, there’s a pretty decent shot. wacom has linux drivers for a lot of devices but not totally certain. the big downside you might experience is i expect rather poorer battery life than an ipad, and maybe some of what you do might not have software that solves the problem 1:1

@timmy Software I’m not worried about as much as drivers for the Wacom interface having drivers — I work in tech and I’ve run Linux as a primary desktop before.

@Unlikelylass since wacom last updated their compatibility page on dec 1st, there is a shot at least https://github.com/linuxwacom/input-wacom/wiki/Device-IDs
