Indian banks block payments for Russian oil imports after US sanctions Russian oil firms and vessels.

As India is one of the largest buyers of Russian oil, sanctioned companies supplied 20% of India's Russian oil imports. India is now trying to move to other oil suppliers.

War in Ukraine appears to have increased the number of antimicrobial resistance cases, BBC reports.

Deputy chief physician at Feofaniya Hospital in Ukraine, stated that over 80% of patients admitted have infections caused by microbes resistant to antibiotics.
