Est-ce que ça a un sens du pot au feu végétal ? Ce n'est pas la question. Comme disait Protagoras : de tout plat, il existe deux versions, une avec, et une sans viande.

Attention, c'est pas une vraie citation de Protagoras hein. Aussi on me suggère que "pot sans feu", c'est la version crudivore avec de l'eau froide.

@Meor Dans le Code du végétarisme (sur Légifrance) ça dit qu'un plat célèbre doit forcément avoir un jeu de mot dans sa version végé. Fauxmage, Chili con seitan, etc.

@burgervege Pot au feu c'est très bien de base. C'est un pot avec des trucs dedans, qu'on fait cuire au feu. Comme fromage fait référence à l'outil pour lui donner sa forme (« formage »). On ajoute « végé » après et hop :)

(je vote ça aussi parce que même j'aime beaucoup « pot tofu » on peut mettre d'autres protéines dedans :P )

@burgervege C'est ça qui est très amusant ! En anglais et en allemand, ça vient du latin "caseus" (qui mène à cheese et käse), mais en français on est resté sur "formaticus" : https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fromage#%C3%89tymologie_et_d%C3%A9signation_de_%C2%AB_fromage_%C2%BB_dans_l'histoire

(edit : j'avais noté l'italien aussi mais non, c'est cacio, tiré de caseus)

@lamecarlate @burgervege je me bats aussi pour qu'on arrête de dire fauxmage et compagnie, le fromage végétal est un fromage point 🤷🏻‍♂️
