HD advise required.

My old PC died four and a half year ago. In it two (I think) SATA drives, NTFS formatted, parts compacted. PC was running XP when it died. Was locked with a username and a PW.

On the HD's are pictures and some old files I like to see back.

My idea is to get a SATA docking station and drop the HD's in it.

• What problems can I expect?

Do I have to mount them and use my old account? Can I expect problems with the compacted volumes? The HD's had several volumes on them.
