Ryan Florence and Michael Jackson, creators of Remix and very popular creators within the React community, are open fascists. Ryan was defending Musk's hitler salute.

No idea where Tanner Linsley stands.

Also worth noting, Remix was acquired / acqui-hired by Shopify, which as we all know, Tobi is the CEO of. They're all friends, all connected, and all support this shit.

@konnorrogers @getajobmike thanks for sharing this, I'm not close to these communities and I had no idea. This is really sad and scary. You'd naively think that people in tech are good open-minded people but here we are.

You'd think Ryan would care about the fact he has 3 daughters and a wife, but alas, making money is more important to him than the rights of his children.

@solnic @konnorrogers @getajobmike There are tons of people in tech who have taken a different approach, perhaps one famous example is Matz who even inspired a slogan Matz Is NIce So We Are Nice (MINISWAN) but there are lots of others. Sadly, the kind who extol tech as surveillance, hope to make sure it benefits the few rather than the many, etc, are also widespread as the rest of this thread shows.
