Does anyone make a mitten for split keyboards? Like a large fluffy slipper for each hand? Computer pogies? Heated desk mittens?

Every electric handwarmer or insole / socks / gloves seems to claim three similar temperature ranges ~113F, 130F, 160F. WTF? I don't think any of them have thermostats regulating it and suspect they're all just fixed resistors but those higher two temps are going to cause burns and the lowest is sus for long durations with any amount of insulation.

Is a thermistor not an option? Like if your feet are in the shoes, couldn't it just self-regulate?
