Another bit of personal geekiness, but I love coming across old access covers like this Automatic Telephone Manufacturing Company one I found recently in the Laurieston area of Glasgow. Despite the company's name, it's part of an old automated traffic light system. The font for the ATM logo is just so wonderfully Art Nouveau.

@Bodling @thisismyglasgow True about that, though around here they normally don't grow moss without some additional shelter. At our house in Virginia, the garage roof grows moss because it has trees overhead, but nowhere else.

@Patrickoldhiker @Bodling Lucky you! Here in Glasgow, we get moss everywhere, regardless of the level of shade (because we have so much rain). This particular access cover is in full sunshine most of the day (or it would be if we didn't get so many cloudy days!). 👍😀
