Does anyone know if there are any open source VOIP TTY solutions for deaf/hard of hearing people to make phone calls through a software SIP server?
Eg: https://tenacitycorp.com/iptty/ but not proprietary.

@purpleidea Not aware of any personally. I use the phone company's IP Relay service these days mostly though, it's been years since I've made an actual-TTY call. Way back before that existed I hacked together something using Asterisk to make TTY calls over the internet, since I couldn't find anything off-the-shelf.

@sen Oh neat. Yeah this would be exactly used with Asterisk (FreePBX) -- any chance you still have your scripts lying around? Hacks don't bug me =D
How does your phone companies IP relay service work? Is it just doing text to speech for you?
