I dig out the frightening bits--that's all there are--from Edelman's Trust Barometer. It's all about grievances: Festivus for all of us. Nobody trusts or believes anybody, which says to me that right-wing campaigns of fear work. 1/

This is truly frightening: More than half of young people, aged 18-34, believe in "hostile activism," including attacking people online, spreading disinformation, and violence. 3/

@jeffjarvis This has been true for their whole lives. Their are subsets of this age group who have been bullied online for most, if not all, of their lives. Turn about truly is fair play now.
