I dig out the frightening bits--that's all there are--from Edelman's Trust Barometer. It's all about grievances: Festivus for all of us. Nobody trusts or believes anybody, which says to me that right-wing campaigns of fear work. 1/

Fear of being discriminated against is way up but not just where that fear is well-founded: among people of color. Now white people think they're being discriminated against. 4/

@jeffjarvis not necessarily for being white though. There are plenty of white women and white queer people who are absolutely being discriminated against, I don’t see why we shouldn’t be worried about it.

@justpeachy @jeffjarvis the questions on this survey are a bit ambiguous, you can draw many different conclusions from the same answers.

One thing is clear though, nobody is happy, everybody is afraid.

And isn't this how the Oligarchs want us?
