Another bit of personal geekiness, but I love coming across old access covers like this Automatic Telephone Manufacturing Company one I found recently in the Laurieston area of Glasgow. Despite the company's name, it's part of an old automated traffic light system. The font for the ATM logo is just so wonderfully Art Nouveau.

@thisismyglasgow I LOVE THIS. It's unadulteratedly gorgeous.

Also, I like thinking of it as a standing for "at the moment." In the context of an access cover, it's a quirky thought to wonder if it's only closed for now but might mysteriously open at some random time in the future.
